Gaussian Blur is an essential tool for making adjustments to images and setting up special effects. With just a few simple steps and some adjustment of the settings, you can easily turn on Gaussian Blur to your desired effect. No matter what software you use to apply the Gaussian Blur effect, the basics are generally the same. The effect will then be applied to the layer or area you selected. A Gaussian Blur window will pop-up, where you can adjust settings to your liking, such as the blur’s Radius and Strength, and click on ‘OK’ when you’re done. Navigate to the Effects tab, select Blur and then Gaussian Blur. If you are using other software such as Corel PaintShop Pro, the process may be a little bit different.
When you are happy with what you’ve done, click on ‘OK’ and the effect will be applied to the layer. This will open the Gaussian Blur window, where you can adjust the settings for the blur’s Radius and choose how much of the image you want to blur. For example, if you are using Adobe Photoshop, all you have to do is select the layer or area you’d like to blur, navigate to the Filter tab, select Blur and then Gaussian Blur.
